Meet Thomas Lentz, a dedicated father of three children in the St. Charles School District 303 and a member of the School Board's Citizens Advisory Committee since 2019. Thomas has been actively involved in the strategic planning for the district and runs for the School Board believing Saint Charles Schools can once again become a top district in Illinois. He believes that every child deserves a world-class education, and he is committed to academic excellence for the high achievers and the child who needs extra support to excel. It's our Community. It's our School. It's our Home.
With nearly 20 years in business and consulting, Thomas will bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to the board table. He is a strong advocate for all students and families and will work to ensure that every student has access to the resources and support they need to succeed. He is committed to transparency for the work of the School Board, engaging parents to be involved in their schools, and empowering them so that parents and community members have a clear understanding of the decisions being made and the direction the district is heading.
Thomas is deeply committed to Saint Charles being a top performing School for every child. Achievement is a choice. As a board member Thomas will provide direction to administration, and hold them accountable to goals that will make our students productive members of our community upon graduation. Reflecting the Community and hearing their voice is a constant goal for Thomas - he's currently walking all our precincts and talking with residents to understand their concerns and goals. If you want a School Board member who is deeply committed to the success of the D303 School District and its students, and who will bring engagement and transparency to the district, please consider voting for Thomas Lentz.
Thomas Lentz is a highly qualified candidate for St. Charles D303 School Board. He has extensive professional experience as an auditor for a large for-profit education company, as well as 16 years of management and information technology consulting experience. With a unique perspective on financial management and strategic planning, Thomas will ensure that district funds and resources are allocated in a fiscally responsible manner to support the education of our students. He also brings an analytical eye and the means to drive accountability of district leadership.
Thomas has volunteered on the Citizens Advisory Committee, and was appointed to the Executive Committee in 2021. Through this experience, he gained an in-depth understanding of the inner workings of the school district and the issues facing the community. This experience will help him make informed decisions that align with the needs of the district and community, particularly as the district evaluates its buildings and programs.
Lastly, as a parent with young children attending the district, he has a vested interest in the success of our schools and understands the importance of providing a quality education for all students. Thomas will bring this perspective to the board and will always keep the best interest of the students, parents, teachers, and community in mind.
